Constructed as a one piece sling - not the stitched 2 piece type - with brass double claw hook on one end and a brass stud button on the other. Comes complete with both the small and large keeper loops, as well as the original brass retaining stud. Designed for the for Springfield Trapdoor or Krag rifles.

It also has an inspection stamp of J.A.H. by the stud end of the sling.

Condition of leather is good, though the leather has darkened and shrunk over time. Some cracking is evident but overall functional and serviceable. It was stored on a rifle for quite some time, so it could use some good conditioning before use. An excellent upgrade for any Springfield Trapdoor or Krag rifle!
